The Beginning
We started “ShutterJack” in 2007, when there was a 2-year old boy named Jack running around our home. A camera shutter and a boy named Jack just came together. Since that time we have had many opportunities to be involved in the success of both small and large businesses. But our favorite times have been getting to know the people we have had the pleasure to work with.

While creating and editing images is our passion, we have also enjoyed regular success selling work through Getty Images, Alamy, Fotolia, iStock, Adobe and other stock photography sites.

The People
ShutterJack is the combined work of James and Stephanie Hale, a husband and wife team devoted to creating professional, high-quality images.
James Hale
James has over 20 years experience in photography, picture compositing, advanced editing, color correction, and photo manipulation using Adobe Creative Suite. He can regularly be found behind the camera; having provided portrait work for C-level executives, families, and fashion models as well as event photography, food and product images, and landscape photography (as featured on Flickr with 17,000+ followers).
Stephanie Hale
With a long career as an art director and creative designer, Stephanie is known for creating quality branding pieces, print, video, and marketing campaigns. Her knowledge and use of Illustrator and Adobe CS is impressive and an asset to this team.
